the beginning of the end.... ?

After a long time, i managed to catch a champions league match live yest, i mean today morn 2am...
The match ofcourse being "Barcelona Vs Liverpool". Well my intentions of staying awake till match started by reading a book, turned out to be a bad idea, as i managed to doze off... :(
But inexplicably woke up @ 2:18am, 'n when i switched on the television set, the second half was abt to be kicked off with the score reading 1-1.
By now 'm sure everyone wud be aware of the fact that Barcelona lost. And anyone seeing the match will know abt their serious defence problems. Barca's keeper Valdes turned out to be the villain. Seriously picking up a back pass! Well i missed the 1st half, 'n Barca supposedly had lot of chances in the 1st 15mins itself! :(
'n 2nd half wasn't tht gr8 frm Barca's point of view, expect for Deco's amazing free kick which hit the post ;(
'n one brilliant play, involving a nice twist 'n turn by Saviola but only for the shot to be saved by Reina. :(
Eto was sorely missed. Hope he gets back into playing real soon 'n hope all that controversy doesnt have any effect. I surely don't want him to leave Barca...

For all you know this may be the beginning of the end...2 away goals...'n at Anfield it may seriously prove to be a very high mountain to climb even for the catalans...

Well...here i am sitting in my cubicle in front of the monitor
'n coupla minutes back was sitting near the window sill just behind my cube...gazing at the wonderful full-moon in an almost cloudless sky...'n with Alanis Morissette's Uninvited playing hauntingly in the background...
well 'm reminded of this scene from 'The Village' where Joaquin Phoenix 'n the heroine(don't rem her name) are sitting at the porch facing into this bewitching deep blue darkness...with a brilliant background score 'n amazing dialogues, this scene remains one of the most fave romantic scenes for me, which i may add are very very few in number...
its tough to explain why one falls in love with something 'n similarly, if you ask me why i like this so much, i wouldn't be able to give a proper answer, 'coz movie aint all that great, only thing i carry from that movie is the awesome background score 'n this scene....may be it was the time when i saw it, or may be it was Phoenix's amazing acting or the innocence of it all...anyways it has this fave dialogue of mine -
"Sometimes we don't do things we want to do so that others will not know we want to do them. "

Rings true....?

well...gotta do some check-ins before i leave for the day...so
