Crime 'n Punishment

currently me reading this book 'n to say its amazing will be an understatement... This is the first book of Fyodor Dostoyevsky, i am reading 'n my only regret is why was i not introduced to his writing before....before corresponding to good ol' coll days time period, when you had all the time in the world to read all the books...

Neways coupla lines frm the book which i just love...

"Hm...yes, all is in a man's hands and he lets it all slip from cowardice, that's an axiom. It would be interesting to know what it is men are most afraid of. Taking a new step, uttering a new word is what they fear most...But i am talking too much. It's because I chatter that I do nothing or perhaps it is that I chatter because I do nothing."

'We overcome our moral feeling if necessary,' freedom, peace, conscience even all, all are brought into the market. Let my life go, if only my dear ones may be happy!

Man grows used to everything, the Scoundrel!

Update:
'He was one of the numerous and varied legion of dullards, of half-animate abortions, concieted, half-educated coxcombs, who attach themselves to the idea most in fashion only to vulgarize it and who caricature every cause they serve, however sincerely.'

btw yesterday finally bought the GEB book!
