All Along The Watchtower

Damn, i missed the May entry! And i didn't, as it looks like Blogger does support back-posting! :)

One thing about not getting to publish the posts when you actually thought of them is that you get to combine all into one. Its not such a good thing as entire posts get reduced into single entries with many things getting omitted but this suits the lazy me just fine. :)

> Last month was BSG month. Completed all the four seasons in 4 weekends, with one season per weekend except for one weekend when i had been to Sharavathi Valley. So thats 73 + (3Hrs of mini-series) in front of TV/laptop screen. Dad started bemoaning my lifestyle - watch till 3/4am and then again start off by next day noon. But its done now. :)
Coming to BSG, now this was one series where all the seasons were good, no floundering off mid-way as Heroes or continuing beyond its age like Prison Break. The characters were the best part, many interesting ones who kept changing as the season progressed. Though one thing i didn't like was lot of supernatural, religious stuff being thrown in at the end, would've preferred if they had kept to pure science 'n logic.

> Sleeping on water, the sense of being adrift - no sense of time, direction...there's nothing like it! Souvenir of this blissful indulgence - complete sunburn on face. Always thought it was only fair-skinned ppl who got sun-burnt, looks like not. But no regrets, from now on i won't be forgetting/ignoring Baz Luhrmann's advice so easily.
This was supposed to be a post of the entire trip - from start to finish, but since now its reduced just to an entry, I will re-direct you to this page - as they say picture is worth a thousand words. :)

> Elation - Barcelona won
Heart broken - Nadal lost

In case you are wondering about the title, its the theme music which plays a crucial part in BSG, some of you may already know it as the brilliant song by Hendrix, though the original song was by Dylan, ppl mostly remember Hendrix's version...

There must be some kind of way out of here
Said the joker to the thief
Theres too much confusion
I cant get no relief

Didn't think you could get sun-burnt. I guess consider yourself fair-skinned. Depending on time-zone your post was in May in some parts of the world, at least that is what it shows up here.
