back to da roots or so to say...

well....just realized how much inappropriate my blog title had become in light of da spate of 'digg more' blogs...guess frm now on will try to keep this blog entirely devoted to my musings 'n host all other gen. stuff on ma other blog...

So this post is more like going back to the roots, my first post...
Well this trail of thoughts as most of da other trails has its inception in a bus. It all started with me leaving office early @ 4 on account of 'Mahalaya Amavasya' and catching a '600c' to Banshankari. It was one of those magical days when 'Hosur-Road' kept true to its 'National Highway' status. And da window seat, provided my mind da perfect environ to bum around. :)

The thought frm whr i pick up da trail is `whats the one thing/principle which i strongly feel abt?` as i cant rem the one which led me to it in first place... :(
'n all i could come up for tht Q was zilch. Well most of da ppl have some ideals(atleast one) which is o'er everything, something that they utterly believe in. At the maximum atleast one goal/aim as to what they want to be in life. But even in tht i come up with a big 'shunya'. Which led me to da Q's - `Should there be a whole purpose to one's life?` `Why is it such a crime not to have any future plans?`
What if one is happy just to drift through life...enjoying for what it is, occasionally steering to take new paths or avoid bad ones or revisit some old one...?
In case you take a straight route to ur aim/destination without even stopping to look what else da journey has to offer, u may miss some paths which given a chance you may prefer over the already embarked on...

I'm not saying it's wrong to know wht exactly you want from life. If you actually know wht you want, then no one's greater than you. But in case you honestly donno what you want frm life, why take a path which you are unsure of, just coz da society expects you to...? Why shd age be even considered....who knows how long a time an individual needs to find out wht he/she wants to be in life...? If at all there has to be something like tht...
For e.g ppl(like me?), ones without any strong likes or dislikes, my 1st life-death equivalent ideal/principle...may be happy being drifters thru out their life. Not getting too involved in anything...a sign of selfishness? stoicalness?or plain laziness? :)
Kinda off-shooting here on the trail....why is laziness a bad thing? Well of course if every one was lazy it wudnt do at all...but everyone is not...someppl just cant be lazy even if you force 'em is it an in-born trait or a developed one? or a combo of both? :)

well sleep's beckoning da back-trail ends here...will continue sometime if i manage to rem... :)

An Abandoned City (photos)

Here is a little photo-session of an abandoned city. When the Soviet Union collapsed, government didn’t have much funds to support some small cities around strategically import objects. People of these cities were left all by themselves.
