Dr. Zhivago

Yesterday night, watched this amazing movie. Its a true classic! Easily one of the most beautiful movies 've seen so far.
I got the soundtrack of this movie when i was in US and had listened to it couple of times before this, but its only after watching the movie, that i can appreciate it so much more. The music by Maurice Jarre is outstanding. Well what further cements it in ur memory is the haunting cinematography. The images just stay with you for a long long long time.
Then ofcourse there's the story with the Russian revolution as the backdrop and the brilliant direction of it by David Leane. Its so beautifully narrated, with the whole emphasis on the human characters but still cuttingly portrays the turmoil, that was Russia during the revolution.

Anyways for more information, you can check out imdb, which will give you a much better review, than one i can possibly hope to write.

Do try to watch it, if you haven't done so. The film is a work of art!

Pulsar

I was actually supposed to blog something else, but Roshan's comment on the previous post, made me think, probably it would a bit too much, if i did it now. :)
Anyways this is abt the ad which has caught my fancy these days. Everyone should have seen this ad by now, if you haven't here it is -

I loved the whole concept of this. Just the music and the stunts and the 'Bajaj, Distinctly Ahead' screen at the end.I can just imagine even a small kid lapping it up. This shows the evolving Bajaj brand. For me 'Bajaj' will always be synonymous with 'Hamara Bajaj'. That ad would probably be one of the iconic ads in India. For me the last scene of two guys on a bike, with the pillion holding the sitar, and in the background, Rock influenced music and the riders expression was like the ultimate image. If you liked it before, you can watch it again here-

Thats how Bajaj brand was reborn. I remember long long time ago, my dad used to own a Bajaj Chetak scooter and Bajaj was pretty much known only for that. Its/we come a long way since then.

Silence

It hides the sadness,
the loneliness...

the hurt, the pain,
the fear, the anger...

the love,
the hate...

the hunger,
the ache...

the darn silence,
it hides everything,
but yea, it shows the dead...
